Stephanie Pearl is a California-born artist whose abstract work draws from the textures and quiet structures of the natural world. Working primarily on wood and other organic surfaces, she explores how the environment shifts under the weight of modern change. Her pieces distill landscape into layered, intuitive forms that reflect both place and transformation.
Largely selftaught, Pearl shaped her artistic eye in San Francisco’s museums and galleries before returning to the Central Valley to deepen her practice. Over the years, she has moved through sculpture, assemblage, and mixed media, ultimately finding her voice in abstraction on wood.
Beyond her studio, Pearl has played an active role in building creative community. She founded the Downtown Community Arts Collective to support atrisk youth and later opened P Street Studios to showcase emerging artists from across California. Today, she continues to expand her body of work while examining the evolving relationship between nature and the forces that reshape it.
